Since winning my first poster competition at the age of seven in my home-town of Waitara, New Zealand, I knew I had a passion for creating artworks. It gives a sense of achievement and satisfaction when I see people respond to work I have created. I graduated from design school, majoring in Illustration and Design with a focus on Airbrush Illustration. I became became a full time Graphic Artist. I worked for various signshops, design studios and advertising agencies. I refined my skills and focussed on design and illustration which lead me to specialising airbrush painting combined with the essential computer graphics programs. I have won two Silver Medals at the National Sign & Display Awards in New Zealand, in both “Murals” and “Vehicle Graphics” categories. My work has also featured in many magazines worldwide, which promote my airbrush painting of equine art, murals and harley davidson motorcycle art. I discovered that I weren’t satisfied with simply designing and painting all day, I felt the need to share my knowledge and experience with others, so I attended teachers college and became a Visual Art and Design teacher. This line of work has given given me the opportunity to both teach and create artworks all over the world, including,California, London, DubaiI and Gold Coast – Australia. I have had many incredible worldwide experiences that I will never forget!
